Na’Vi Costumes Got Made In Real Life First
The Na’vi garments were not something that just got made by the digital team. As it turns out, the garments – every piece of it (the fabrics, necklace, bracelets) were created by designer Deborah L. Scott. The reason for this was that the technology was good at capturing the texture and image of the dress pieces. This helped the digital team add enough 3D elements to the movie to make it look more real.
Extraterrestrial Environment Sounds
The majority of the sounds articulated by the flora and fauna in the Avatar film are reused from the Jurassic Park production. The sound of the majority was recycled and then edited to match the extraterrestrial setting of the film.

An apparent 57 types of new species of sea creatures were created for the film, it’s also no surprise that the ideas for “Pandora” got inspired by the marine life that already exists (or existed) right here on our planet Earth.

Dr. Paul Frommer is a linguist who teaches at the University of Southern California and also moonlights in inventing languages for various movies. Approximately, he crafted 1000 words for the film Avatar. It is a very interesting language, to say the least.
